Confraternity of Ss. Peter & Paul

Who We Are

The Confraternity of Saints Peter and Paul was established for the purpose of inviting the Christian faithful throughout the world to give glory to God by uniting themselves with the Catholic clergy in that public prayer and liturgy which is the Divine Office.

In these current unhappy times when so many of our churches are no longer the sacred repository of faith and prayer, the Confraternity of Ss. Peter & Paul wishes to restore to the faithful a means by which the praises of God may continue undefiled.

It is therefore a part of our apostolate to provide locations where the faithful may participate with the clergy in the public recitation of those parts of the Divine Office which the Rule prescribes.  At Infant of Prague Chapel we hope to make available the Offices of Prime, Vespers and Compline on a daily basis for those who would like to participate or simply attend..

Rubrics and other instructions will be made available for those faithful who wish to deepen their knowledge of the liturgy, whereby they may be instructed in the right manner of reciting the Breviary.  Thus we can ensure that the private and public recitation of the Divine Office may forever be safeguarded, and conducted according to the traditional rites and practices of the Church.

The Confraternity of Ss. Peter & Paul is governed by a Dean and Chapter who meet at least three times a year to maintain the Bylaws and Constitution of the Confraternity, and to resolve any issues affecting the Confraternity.  The current Dean is our Chaplain, Father Bernard Hall, whose role it is to appoint the four Prebendaries (or Members of Chapter), two of whom are also Officers of the Corporation along with the Dean, holding the offices respectively of Provost and Bursar.  A more complete description of the role of Chapter, as well as a summary of our Bylaws, may be found on the Confraternity website,
